May Jesus Christ, whose love is eternal, be with you!

              St. Cyprian is preparing for its Forty Hours of Eucharistic Devotion. This is an opportunity to spend some time in church before Jesus in the monstrance. The church will be open all day. It takes place September 13th to the 15th. Evening prayers will be prayed and a homily from Fr. Ed Town. I invite all three parishes to participate at this special ,grace-filled, spiritual devotion. Forty Hours of eucharistic Devotion brings special blessings to all who attend. This devotion was established by St. John Neumann when he was bishop for Philadelphia.

          May we pray for or college bound students as they continue to achieve their goals academically and in the work force.

In September , a report on our parish will be given. This report included our parish statistics, finances, and parish goals,. Look in our parish for the exact date of the parish report.

          Remember in your prayers the citizens of Columbia, South America. The earthquake that hit that country is devastating. They will need our prayers and will other resource. Continue to pray for our parish and city as well.

          Today’s Gospel, Jesus asks His disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” Peter’s response bought joy and hope to Jesus. We too are asked that same question and what meaning He has in our life. May our responses bring joy and hope to Jesus Christ.
