MSGR. FEDERICO BRITTO
PASTOR’S CORNER
October 19 2025
May Jesus Christ the way to God’s eternal kingdom. Be with you!
We are half way through the month of October. I encourage you to remember to take a moment, or two, to acknowledge God and to offer thanks to Him. Even if you are in the midst of challenges, take a moment to acknowledge Him in your presence.
This Wednesday, our universal church will celebrate the Feast of St. John Paul II. He brings back memories for me. I served the Mass for him he celebrated Mass in Philadelphia. I’m also reminded of giving out Holy Communion during his Mass in Rome. When he declared Mother Katherine Drexel a Saint. Fr. Fisher can share his stories of Being ordained a priest by St. john Paul II in Rome. I was made a monsignor by St. John Paul II. This is a special day for the church and all who were affected by his presence and ministry.
Our readings for today’s Mass reminds us to be persistent in prayer, faith, discipleship. And proclaiming God’s word. My we never stop telling people about Jesus. May we also witness in His name.
Peace and Blessings,
Msgr. Britto
